Well, because of the effects of changeing polarisation from one corner of the frame to another, I tend to avoid using polarisation filters on wide angles all together (unless that's the effect I want ofcourse ;-). But to prevent vignetting, I use the Hoya Pro 1 HMC Super filters on my wide angle lenses (16-35, 24-70 and 28-138). B&W also sells polarisation filters in their MRC Slim line. IIRC The B&W Slim filters don't allow you to use your original lens cap though... If the polarisation filter is the only filter you use, it shouldn't cause vignetting. Putting it on top of the UV filter is asking for trouble at the wide end...
