Hi,

Please help me if you use the EOS 28-135 IS lense. Do I have to buy the
slim polar filter because of the vignetting? Earlier I use an EOS 28-105
and I have problems with the Hama 7 mm thick polar filter.

Thanks in advance.

Well, since you have vignetting at 28mm with the 28-105 you will have them with the 28-135 at the 28mm end. 28mm is 28mm

I use a slim polarizing filter on my 28-135, I think 3mm, and have no noticable vignetting.

28mm with a 58mm filter size is most decidedly not 28mm with a 72mm filter size. Unless the pola filter is stacked with a thick UV, then you probably won't have vignetting. I don't, with a Hoya UV and standard polarizer. But a wide angle rubber lens hood does vignette with this combination.
