It wasn't any different with the 1n back then btw....actually, I knew more than the EOS crew (and that was back in '96 I believe....nah, even 1994, that's also when the DCS-series started....only Usenet as info-source, no web-sites that I knew of, not even a mailinglist (though very close! (hinthint!....;)) OTOH: if they really had wanted major media-attention, then they would have released it at least one month earlier, for proper magazine-coverage....and it's more an update than a all-new model anyway.... Now that Mamiya ZD SLR, fixed back, 22MP, for the 645-series lenses....*that's* a novel approach....an 1D on steroids....:)) (while Bronica just shut down business btw!) http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=mamiya+ZD Very high MIBS-appeal....:)) (More Is Better Syndrom) > Just pleasantly amused (myself that is), that is all > :) > I'm still a very happy Canon camper and continue to be > one ... Btw, *if* logistics in general were a factor, then why did Canon hand out those thick cover-all brochures, when asking for only the IS- binoculars....:)) Plenty of other logistics going on too, early in the morning....just one more pallet-trolley in operation....:)) -- Bye, Willem-Jan Markerink The desire to understand is sometimes far less intelligent than the inability to understand <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [note: 'a-one' & 'en-el'!] * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
