The strap should have metal connections that allow for slight tilting of
the camera, without cutting the strap (the lens will always tilt the
camera down - this is what ripped the old strap).
The strap should be wide enough for comfortably transporting my EOS 30 and
70-200 L IS.

A quick (dis)connects would be nice, as well as the limited stretching
qualities of neoprene, but considering the weight of my gear...

I have this one and I've used it for a long time with my (heavy) EOS 3 and PB-E2 and it
doesn't show any wear. When I bought it I was a little worried that the quick release
would release accidentally, but it has never happened and I've used this one strap for
years. The first thing I did when I got my 20D was moving this strap over to that body.
