Julian, thanks for the info. I also found strobes that plug in to 
ordinary socket for the regular light bulb and work as an optical slave 
-- some even have cable (pc) connection. And they are as cheap as 40-100 
EUR, but are really low power (80-125 Ws).

What is the power of your set?
(maybe we could continue off-list, because it is getting rather 
off-topic...:)
