I feel the same way. I'm not fully comfortable with any repair service on any product, but I would trust Canon more than other manufacturers in other industries. As for me, I got to shoot with my 20D last night for the first time, and somehow managed to produce the "Err" message?!?!?!? This was with a 50 1.4 USM lens mounted and I was simply scrolling through the Menu settings. I was finally able to restore functionally after power-cycling a couple times and then eventually removing and reinserting the batteries. I may have been not so surprised if I were using one of my third party lenses but this happened with a a Canon lens! I'll have to monitor this closely... * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
