Indeed, with Northern Lights that is the case,
focus is always at infinity.

In this application quite a lot of distortion would
be acceptable. It indeed sounds like it might be worth
considering.

It is a bit small but tolerable, and here I might just
tape the lens to infinity focus once and be done with it. :-)
