Must be why I like shooting with a 24mm lens so much. Back in my FD
days, my 24mm f/2.8 SSC spent a LOT of time on my camera! Somehow, I've
never been quite as happy with my 20-35mm f/2.8 L lens. Maybe I need to
tape it at the 24mm mark.

It is not scientific but try looking at something and then use a 24mm
lens and you will see approximately the same view including periphery.
On a 35mm camera, you get about the same object size with your eye as
you do looking through a lens of about 55-60mm. That is all I am saying.
You can argue it, but this is what I have learned over the years. So I
am simply commenting.
