Hi Gary, I'm here to tell you, the good deals are out there! Several years ago I bought my first EF 15 2.8 (new in the box!), from a Canon dealer that was going out of business. They found it in a pile of empty boxes that were being thrown out! I paid $337 for it on eBay. I bought my second EF 15 2.8 from a private party for about $20 more, pretty close to the same amount. The prices of all original Canon lenses is going up for some reason and recently the EF 15 2.8 has gone nuts too! Maybe people have finally figured out that bodies are the thing you change regularly and lenses are what you keep!
