Hi Chip

I agree. All my EOS bodies have gone down in price (by A LOT) but my glasses have pretty much stayed at where they are. 6-7 yrs I bought my EF 200L MK1 with tripod mount for 400 bucks used (in mint condition). Now, it has gone up in price. (ok, I think this is true for the good lenses like "L" and the good prime). I was tempted several times to get the third parties but am glad I didn't. I know they are very in quality and built. But I always worry about the compatibility issue. Anyway, my old trusty 28-70 3.5 MK1 still works fine with my D20 and my old 620. :)

Thanks! I guess I have to continue my hunt for the fisheye.

Hi Gary,

I'm here to tell you, the good deals are out there! Several years ago I
bought my first EF 15 2.8 (new in the box!), from a Canon dealer that was
going out of business. They found it in a pile of empty boxes that were
being thrown out! I paid $337 for it on eBay. I bought my second EF 15 2.8
from a private party for about $20 more, pretty close to the same amount.
The prices of all original Canon lenses is going up for some reason and
recently the EF 15 2.8 has gone nuts too! Maybe people have finally figured
out that bodies are the thing you change regularly and lenses are what you
keep!

Cheers/Chip
