Hmm... Perhaps we should make more wishes here so Canon can make it come
true.  I want a cheap full-frame DSLR for under 1500?  :D

Seriously, the real-time viewing is done by lifting the mirror up and
collect the image continuously on the CCD.  ( I suppose you'll do this at
"B" mode?)  Somewhat similar to what the P&S digitals are doing.  I'm
curious if I can set something in my D20 so it can that as well.  Perhaps
set it at cleaning mode?
