Hugo, Personally I'd prefer to keep the nearly perfect QCD placement that works well for both horizontal and vertical format images over a larger LCD screen. All I really care about on the LCD is the histogram and accurate image composition. With a 100% finder on EOS 1 DSLR's the LCD image is cropped very slightly which is OK but I'd prefer it to match the finder image more closely. Past that LCD size is not an issue IMO.
