Hello,

First thanks to all who replied to my thread.

As I use this scanner for some years now in combination with SilverFast
and never experienced such problems, I guess the fault must be on the
hardware side.
I often scanned slides with lots of snow or ice, and never had such a
greenish or cyanish looking result. BTW: it seems that the scans get
less greenish the longer the scanner is switched on. 

So maybe one of the LEDs has died or is damaged. Tomorrow, I will take
my scanner to my local Nikon service and will see what they find out.
