My printer (Canon Pixma IP400R) doesn't accept JPGs if there is a RAW,
too. I don't know if it works with other printers differently.

Personally I don't see any advantage of shooting RAW+JPG, using only
the RAW setting as it gives me more flexibilty in postprocessing.
