Personally, I like the 5 focus points on my EOS 1n. At times it would be
convenient to have not only horizontal but also vertical focusing points. So
maybe 9 focus points could be superior. Nevertheless, when I temporarily
used a camera with 9 focusing points it really slowed down the time to chose
the right focusing point. It's probably a matter of practice. But 35
focusing points...? I would miss like every shoot...

In any case for me the EOS 5D is almost exactly what I was waiting for. If
only the price would be $2k instead of 3500 Euro... 3500 Euro is list price.
Does anybody have any idea what this camera might cost in the US considering
the prices of the 1Ds (Mk II), EOS 20D, etc?

Robert
