1.2X was for APS-H not APS-C Mr. Bill

It was about the same time that the EOS IX was released. It's the last film SLR I own, the others having been sold to finance the move to digital. I know many digitals are advertised as having an APS sensor, but I was never sure about the math, because the literature at the time APS came out said it increased the apparent focal length of 35mm lenses by 1.2, not 1.6. It's a real eye-catcher with a 300mm f/2.8 lens :-) Tom P.
