I haven't read all my email yet since I just returned home from a week
in Las Vegas, NV. So this may have been answered already.

While there I filled a few 1G CF cards with my 20D and the 17-40 f/4L
with images of Downtown Las Vegas and The Valley of Fire State Park..

all I can say is this is a great lens! Practical Photography, from the
UK, ran a review of this lens sometime ago and I must agree with their
review and rating. I like it because it works well with my 20D and my
EOS-3 and with the 5D if I ever get one of those..

Hope this helps,
Bob
