Hi William!

Last spring Lexar had a recall on certain of their CF cards because of 
incompatibility with Canon 20Ds (the 5D was not yet introduced).  

I had to have all 3 of mine replaced (they're slow, be warned).  Only CF cards 
from certain batches were affected.  I'd give you more information, but it's 
at home, and I'm on the road.   Do a web search on Lexar, CF card, Problems 
and it should pop up.  If yours is one of the affected series, you will need 
to send it to them.
