EOS 30D

Well, congratulate me  - I've almost joined the ranks of DSLR owners. 
30Ds - bodies and kits - are in stock at my local, and I just put a 
deposit on one to hold it until payday.  To be perfectly honest, it's 
a compromise, as over the last few months I had been taking extra 
work and saving to get either a 1D Mk.II used or a 5D.  But last week 
my laptop was stolen and I had to replace it immediately, so I'm 
buying the lower cost 30D.  I think I'll be happy with it 
though.  I'll post some initial impressions in a week or so.
