Hi!

I am a 300D user, and have shot about 20000 so I am thinking about the next
camera.

I've just read, that there is no specification on the 20D shutter
durability. It is an interesting question. The 30D is advertised (on the
net) with the following: "The weight and size of the shutter blades is
smaller than in the 20D so the durability is better." Hm? And how about the
EOS30? The shutter blades in the EOS30 were smaller than in the 20D? Because
the EOS30 could make about 450000 exposures according to a test. How could
they make it worse?

Does anyone have experience with a 20D? How many shutter cycles can that
make?

The magazine writes on page 13:
"Flash exposure lock not available on the 20D"

Is that true? (That is not even true on the 300D!)

page 14
"On the 20D the shutter button has to be fully released before shooting
again."

Is that true? (That is also not even true on the 300D!)

page 15-17
These lenses are not compatible with the EF 1.4x and 2x converter? Why?

I don't want to spend more than the price of a 20D until I don't get the
quality of an EOS50E. Like ECF and 100000 shutter cycles! Does anyone know
why is there no ECF in digital bodies?

Thanks for your opinions,
Csaba
