You can try www.mahaenergy.com for chargers.

But you would have to manually connect the +ve, -ve, and sense connections
each time, and Murphy says one of these days you will make the wrong
connection and pop/blow/burn something expensive along the way.

Many years ago Sony DC input on their portable consoumer electronics have
the center pin as -ve and shield as teh +ve, I made a Ni-Cad battery pack
to power a portable CD player in the car since the lighter socket carried
ignition noise, I would charge the battery in the house overnight and then
bring the pack to hook up to the CD player in the morning.

I forgot how I was hooking it up in the car, but it was obviously not idiot
proof! I distinctly remember one morning noticing a small amount of white
smoke pouring out from the CD player after the battery connections.....

The incorrect connection had caused a 5 VDC regulator inside the unit to
burn up, I had to wait a month for the part to be shipped in from Japan and
some amount of cost to get it fixed.

If I were you, I wouldn't want to take a chance with the 1Ds batteries as
it carries quite a bit of energy!
