The full frame/higher resolution combination at a more reasonable price
point is one of the reasons I waited until now.  I am interested to see
how (if it works) my Tokina AF 235II performs on it.  I am planning on
moving to the Canon 17-40mm f/4L, but I want to do a comparison first.
Even though it is not my primary use, I like to shoot birds and that is
one application where I think I might prefer the crop factor.
