Ken, I have indeed used several Stroboframe brackets, and they didn't make me a fan. They seemed flimsy.
Personally, after using the RRS system I wouldn't consider Stroboframe. I'm willing to put up with the extra weight to gain the extra quality, and I'm fortunate to be able to afford the cost. Pricing is RRS' main weakness IMHO.
I'm not associated with RRS in any way shape or form except as a satisfied customer, nor with any commercial entity in any aspect of the photo equipment business.
