Guys, partially related to topic, how do you change the WB in jpeg images? I try to always take a picture of a grey card (Lastolite) and for RAW, it works very well. I use Pixmantec RSE to set the Whitebalance and the pictures turn out really well. Even if I use the "auto wb" mode on one picture and just copy the setting to other pictures as well. What do you do with jpegs? I find that Photoshop (CS) is not that good with auto whitebalance, so correcting WB on jpeg files is not "that" straightforward. And playing with curves often produces mixed results... Tnx, Miha. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Miha, In the past I've made good use either of the "Auto" feature in PhotoShop Levels, or of the middle eye-dropper tool in Levels and then trying to find a suitable neutral grey tone in the original. This can be quite difficult with some images. With my flower close-ups it's been difficult to find a suitable neutral grey, and consequently I gave "The Imaging Factory"'s WhiteBalance filter for Photoshop a try. There's a free download for assessment, and as it seems to do a good job I paid up the £26 a few days ago. (Although it's priced in dollars it attracted UK VAT.) (I'm using PS6.)
