You can set the white balance in the camera. First, choose "custom white balance" (the icon has a small square and wedges left and right, kinda like >.<) as WB mode. Then take a photo of your grey card. Finally, choose "custom white balance" in the LCD menu. It will let you choose an image. Select the photo of your greycard. This sets white balance in camera, so be sure to rebalance if color of light changes. BTW, Canon camcorders use the same icon for custom white balance. Works quite nice too. Lars -- .~.
