Does anyone have any recommendations for a portable storage device I
can use with a Canon 5D.
I intend to use raw files and save from a CF card. It would help if it
was tough enough for a dusty 4x4 camping safari in Africa!
I will be away for four weeks and this is the first time I have taken a
digital camera. Any advice on dust?
Many thanks,
Thanks for all the replies.
I will be taking an old laptop, with a small hard disc, but do not want
to go for an external hard disk - if either of them fail I will be
stuck.
I have decided to go for a simple storage device (or even two) without
viewing facility - I don't want to spend time in the field trawling
through the day's shots.
Pelican case is a nice idea. I have one for an UW video camera which
will probably do the job.
There seem to be more devices marketed in the USA than here in the U.K.
so I should be able to make a decision soon.
I am still concerned about dust on the sensor!
