Actually, I have a Nova 3 -- I was under the impression that it was Nova 5. :) Nevertheless, I rearranged the interior a bit, and now the lens-down position is even more secure. Because the camera itself rests on the internal "walls", which make up nice little compartments for flash, lenses and other accessories.
I was mostly concerned with IS -- whether that could be affected by the lens-down method. I guess it is OK. :) On another note, I got myself a 30D (upgraded from D30 :). And wow, what an improvement. Focus and most notably, noise levels. I shot at ISO 1000, and the noise levels are just fantastic. I do a lot of lowlight shooting (hence I _need_ IS) and this really helps. With 50/1.8, you can practically shoot in the dark :-) Miha > -----Original Message----- > > I also use a Nova 5 as my everyday bag and I always use the > lens-pointing-down method, typically with a 17-40 or 28-135 > lens attached. > With smaller lenses like these I don't think there is really > any issue. > SAMO NASLOVNIKU! / ONLY FOR THE INTENDED RECIPIENT!
