My Elan IIe sits in the shelf nowadays. But I wouldn't mind upgrading it to a 1v if I find a good deal. I might actually use film again for IR.
Incidently, I just picked up a Canon A-1 with 50mm 1.4 again a few weeks ago. I had sold all my FD gear several years back. Since then I started collecting old cameras for the shelf in my photography office. The A-1 fits in nicely, even though it is by far the most modern camera of the bunch. This A-1 is in better shape than either of the A-1s I had previously, and the price was right, too. Lars -- .~.
