And wasn't there also some Japanese manufacturer doing very high-end 
glass telescopes for photo-applications up to 6x7cm format? (much 
more quality than needed just for the eye(piece))
(mostly combined with Pentax 6x7 bodies, that have the later/modified 
battery-less bulb-exposure capability)

Thought I had that link on my website, but can't find it 
anymore....anyone know which brand that was?
