Subject: EOS A silly question

but EOS related, of course, can EOS DSLRs set shutter speed (for
freezing action) and aperture (for specific DOF) and let the camera
adjust ISO for proper exposure? This is a kind of "reverse" program mode
that may come in handy. Just curious.

Thanks,

Francis

Not a silly question at all. I too have thought how useful this could be.

There's a very limited "feature" in green square mode where I think the ISO may reduce from 400 to 100 if you could find a bright enough scene. (At least that's how I think it's meant to work. Where I am, the ISO seems to stick on 400.) But as green square mode is on the same knob as manual, you can't do what you want.

Possible Firmware fix? I expect not.
