I reckon you are talking about the 30D, not the D30 ... The 30D was announced just about a year ago, so it would be a bit early to expect a successor, given the 18 months typical model cycle. However, the 400D is now 10 MP, so the 30D looks outdated. a 40D with 10 MP with sensor cleaning function would be current technology. In just about two weeks we will know better. Lars -- .~.
