Just a note on A-S: I recently had to replace a tripod/ball head I
lost (:-() on which I had an Arca-Swiss B1. I was considering a
bunch of competitors - RRS BH-55, Markins M20, Kirk BH-1, until I
discovered that A-S has issued a new ball head to replace the B1,
called the Z1 and it is cheaper! I paid something like $400 for my
B1 used, and I just ordered a new Z1 from B&H for $309. Can't wait
for it to arrive. Manfrotto/Bogen 3021BPro will arrive with it.
