I have the MP-E 65mm <http://www.tanchung.com/canon/efmpe65mmf28macro1to5.htm> It's interesting in use - with a maximum mag of 5X but not advisable for skittish insects - working distances can be described as (at best) cosy, and (at worst) interference-fit. Best results when used in conjunction with a ring flash (but not essential), and can give interesting results. <http://www.cottysnaps.com/snaps/nature/images/pic20.html> <http://www.cottysnaps.com/snaps/nature/images/pic22.html> Resources: <http://www.beautifulbugs.com/> <http://www.luminous-landscape.com/reviews/lenses/mp-e-65.shtml> <http://photo.net/equipment/canon/mp-e-65> -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
