I have had the 15mm fisheye for years.

I don't use it much, but it is the widest (*) lens in my
arsenal even after defishing, so it gets used when the
16-35 does not suffice.

It is a fairly old design, as apparent in the noisy
autofocus (not that autofocus is that important in such
a lens).

This is a full-frame fisheye (180 degrees FOV in diagonal).
The more you crop (either in camera or later), the more
it diminishes the actual fisheye effect.

It is reasonably sharp (not surprising since the optics
do not have to rectilinearize).

I haven't really seen the price go down much - I bought
might nearly 10 years ago in Hongkong in the good old days
when the US dollar was still worth someting.

(*) I just got a Peleng 8mm circular fisheye this past
weekend for my birthday, but those two fisheye lenses are
classes apart. The Peleng is a circular fisheye and it
is not quite as sharp as the Canon 15mm, but the Peleng
sure is a FUN lens.
