Correction: FotoMagazin, not ColorFoto, and only the Sigma 8mm/f3.5 
seems a new optical design; the Sigma 15mm/f2.8 does carry the 'EX' 
designation, but apparently that's only relevant in the context of 
electronics (flash-/distance-data stuff I assume), since they mention 
that the optical design is from the analog era too....
