Wow that is really a good price. Considering your thoughts on the
lens- let me put my hands on one and test it first before I commit.
Thanks Wilber

To be honest, the 28-300 4/5.6 L IS is not my favorite lens. Quite
large and heavy, plus I do not like the push / pull zoom type
function. I actually use it very little, however, it does cover a
good range which can come in handy at times. However, I use it seldom
enough that I will sell mine to you if you would like. I have all the
original packaging, manuals, hood, lens bag, etc. ... just like I
purchased it new. Lens is PERFECT, like new, not a scratch or ding on
it. I will sell it for $950 including shipping in the US.
You can contact me off list if you, or anyone else is interested.

I'm looking to add two lens and need some feed back on them. 24 ~
105 f4 L IS for Candids at weddings and photography of children.
Then also the 28 ~ 300 4/5.6 L IS. I was thinking of updating my
70-200 (non IS and is used mostly for portrait work) with the IS
version, but I hear lots of good things about the 28 ~ 300 and if it
is as good it would have more usage.
Thanks Wilber
