So I have a 300mm f/2.8 IS L now. I'm dissappointed that the tripod collar doesn't seem to have a notch for easying positioning into verticle and horizontal shooting.
After playing with my 600mm f/4 IS L so much the 300mm is unnaturally small. Though the jump up from the 200mm f/2.8 L is pretty dramatic.
