Thanks Jason for looking into this, and for your work on these macros in general. I take it you mean you were able to build the old version of the package (1.12-1) without issue? As I said, I removed %clean entirely (in 1.12-2), so the problem with this particular package is fixed. But I'll try and test the new epel-rpm-macros if I get time.
