By and large Adrian has stopped "contributing" much, it seems he has done
enough here. Our
ultimate goal is to attain cosmic insight and operationality and learn until
we can. It's not
unlike as portrayed in E.E. Smith Lensman Series, anon for Paul Linebargger a
Double Ph. D. as
a battle royal and cosmic between Arisians into understanding and Eddorians
into power. I
cannot see how AI is ever going to attain not just intellect, which I call the
verbal garbage
machine and transcendental mindstates but I reserve final judgment until I see
it happen, one
way or another. Yes, Hawking, paraplegic, now wears a mind helmet HE uses to
instruct various
machines, but to have a mindhelmet to achieve mass robot armies, nope, not
Blikely UNLESS by
some incredible sideways or other leap into the unknown. I'll just wait til I
see it. It won't
be too late if and when it happens the human mind has resources we have not
even begun to dream
of. I've had more than enough instances of that in my life to satisfy any
sceptic. WE don't
need computers our mind can do all of that and more.
