To what extent does this problem follow from the way Universities operate? Don't universities demand that, in order to obtain a doctorate, one must present a thesis that stands up to scrutiny in a scenario that allows only one outcome, i.e. the thesis is either false or true. No surprise then if such a monoist education results in monoist thinkers who decide that only scientific projects that fall within this line of thinking deserve further funding. Cheers!
