I have promised Antonio to vulgarize my - Einstein based - ontology, logic and ideology and to suggest ways of boosting the social awareness of the latter by effectively disseminating it to the public.
The present post opens the discussion of the ultimate step - the dissemination project, which presents some extremely tough, hardly surmountable problems. I do not pretend here to give solutions, but rather to define some, IMO crucial involved issues. I dealt with preceding steps in the following chapters starting with the First Enlightenment as a forerunner and example of some mishaps which may help us to avoid their repetition. Consequently, taking as granted the acceptance of the SE ontology as outlined in the previous chapter, we shall start by selecting its principles susceptible of transforming into practical ideological rules. Ontology of the SE has been derived from the Second Scientific Revolution of the Extended Relativity and one cannot expect even the most erudite non-specialists, let alone the large public, to be acquainted with its underlying scientific details. Ideology may only be based upon the ultimate, most general denouements of the ontology, in the case in point upon the new reason embodied in the ERN structures and their applications to logic, esthetics and ethics. *** Thus, the SE ideology boils down to the new reason embodied in ERN inference structure. http://findgeorges.com/CORE/D_RATIONAL_VIEW/b_ern_logic.html I may have it in hand conceptually and technologically, but it would be ridiculous to pretend that I can do by myself anything practical about its dissemination as support of a new prevailing social awareness. I see it rather as a large project structure of several hierarchically related levels involving people with various skills and experiences. Each level consists of communication between particular addressers and addressees, where addressers have to reach, to convince and to motivate addressees. I distinguish three levels schematized as follows: Level 1 2 3 addressers propounders erudites activists addressees erudites activists public Accordingly I propose to open three threads dedicated to discussion of details specific to each level: "Dissemination of SE ideology level 1" "Dissemination of SE ideology level 2" "Dissemination of SE ideology level 3" A few general remarks: Propounders may differ in ontological details as long as they converge towards ERN as cornerstone of SE ideology. I hope to gain Jud as one of the propounders in spite of slight differences in our ontological views: Einstein's "physical bodies" are of course essential for SE ontology. Only he did not care, like Jud, about their "objective" existence but about our knowledge of them, which he based upon sense data and observable events. I talk about "erudites" for want of a better word, by analogy with literate addressees of the Great Encyclopedia. The three tasks - reach, convince, motivate: Reach: addressees must notice being addressed. Convince: Easier than for the First. SE ontology founds as yet not falsified contemporary science and ERN's applications have not been falsified either. Motivate: Addressees should not just nod the head and go have a drink, but mold their lives by the new reason, like they did and do in the kibbutzim.
