Hi Jud, In my ideology project I suggestion three dissemination levels, each consisting of communication between particular addressers and addressees, where addressers have to reach, to convince and to motivate addressees.
I distinguished three levels schematized as follows: Level 1 2 3 addressers propounders erudites activists addressees erudites activists public Accordingly I propose to open three threads dedicated to discussionof details specific to each level: "Dissemination of SE ideology level 1" "Dissemination of SE ideology level 2" "Dissemination of SE ideology level 3" The present post opens level 1 thread, where I see as propounders, at least for the moment, just you and me. Taking from your Discussion Document the ideas of "OUR OWN SOCIETY" and "AN ON-LINE JOURNAL", it seems clear, that they should repose on the Athenaeum Library of Philosophy site, where we'd have, at the level 1, to expose the essentials of SE ontology and ideology. That's, where the delay to react to your document comes from. I believe that we should start by clearly determining our (dis)agreements on essentials of the SE ontology before uploading it to the first dissemination version in the Academy. I spent several days refining the first chapters to upload and present them herein to your appreciation and comments. We may disagree on some secondary details, but such disagreements have to be precisely determined before going public.
