Hi Thomas, thanks for posting this. I'll try to integrate it into the Eq tree under contrib, as soon as I find the time. I'll let you know once it's done, and I'll give at least one person commit access.
If you prefer, we can also setup a separate repository, although i would strongly prefer svn, so that I can reference it using svn:externals from the Eq tree.
