Hi Folks, I have made some significant progress in compiling and running the osgScaleViewer app, as a nodejs module. At the moment, you can only launch the application from within nodejs - I am only steps away from creating the appropriate V8 bindings to expose relevant objects & interactivity through a Javascript API.
The reason we are doing this (I work as a Viz and CG Scientist at a Visualization Lab in the Middle East), is to allow us to create and interact with content on tiled-displays and VR environments through Javascript (and hence through the browser platform), and hence make it easier for our users to work with Equalizer+OSG. My question is, is this of a significant interest to the Equalizer community ? If so, I can share the development with the community. I am probably a couple of weeks away from cleaning up and having a skeleton git repo to share with everyone. Cheers, Madhu Srinivasan
