In p2 we currently rely on the platform UI progress view rather than present p2 jobs in a separate way. There's some discussion of nicer p2 job progress reporting in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=206650 > - Integration/UI of dynamic repository discovery, both in admin app > and Eclipse There is some discussion happening now in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=220554 The outcome of that will drive the UI and more generalized discovery discussed in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=218534 The admin UI is another place to contribute. It's getting very little attention the closer we get to 3.4, so if there are features/functions that you'd like to see in the admin UI, open a bug and contribute a patch! Anyone looking for other ways to help in the UI can search on p2 bugs that have [ui] in the title and see if anything grabs you. If it doesn't have a milestone on it, it means we probably won't get to it in 3.4. If it has a 3.4 milestone, it means I'm trying, but not confident enough to put an M7 on it.... susan Scott Lewis <[EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Equinox development mailing list <[email protected]> m> cc: Sent by: Subject: Re: [equinox-dev] [prov] Participation opportunity equinox-dev-bounces@ eclipse.org 04/08/2008 09:52 AM Please respond to Equinox development mailing list Hi Folks, Sorry, I realize I may have stepped on (Susan's) toes WRT the UI items below. Susan can comment (if she wants) on whether participation on the below fits in with her/others plans in those areas.
