For luna we must stay on jetty 8 mostly because of the Java 7 requirements
of Jetty 9. My hope is that a move to Java 7 for eclipse help will be
acceptable to the community for Mars.

Hi David...yeah, thanks. I should have qualified that I was mostly
interested in 8 vs. 9.

Thanks for the info.

The same version that is currently being used, 8.1.14 ... well,
unless they come out with a quick point release that has a critical
      fix in it,
or something. But will stay on 8.x stream, if that's more to the
      point?

      Hi,

I assume that since the current Equinox HttpService impl is provided
      by
Jetty that some version of Jetty will be used for Equinox Luna. If
that's right, what version of Jetty will be used?

      Thanks,

      Scott
