Ed Mine was last weighted in 1965 after they installed the metal wings, and I see no reason to weight it again until an AP says I must. I have started to remove the 1960's IFR panel it had. I don't use any of that stuff. It had an ADF (tube, but a great radio--loved it) removed, COM 120, AT-50, Nav 11, King 150B? (tube) removed and replaced with a King 97 or 96, King KMA 24 audio panel. As soon as I get an AP to patch the fuselage, I will have the ADF and marker beacon antennas removed. The turn and bank has been removed. It still has a DG (old style AN), Vertical Speed, EGT and the normal VFR instruments. The interior is simple cloth with cloth covered foam used for side panels and two sets of cloth pockets on the side below the seats. It has a standard carpet, but it doesn't cover the kick panels. The baggage area is simply glued on cloth. I don't see how people are putting an extra 100 pounds in a Coupe with most radios weighting only 2 to 4 pounds. What are they putting in them--hardboard side panels, bricks, tiled wet bars?
