I have a good friend who was a Delta Capt. and he's in his 70s now and flies our club plane immaculately. I took him on the club's free demo flight, and he decided to do a 360. By God, the needles looked like they were painted on! Yup, the FAA has its head wedged and the 60-and-out rule is a fine example.

PS - Said pilot spent several years after Delta flying missionary bush flights in Africa that must have made his L-1011 work look like relaxing on a rubber raft.
