Hi,

Has anyone replaced a Forney quadrant-style throttle cable lately?  If so, what's the best way to proceed?  John at Skyport can get the complete cable with housing ($200-plus!) and suggested changing out the cable only, if the housing is OK, which it is.  I suspect a nick or wear spot is causing the "glitch" I'm feeling as I begin advancing the throttle.  Wouldn't want it to break at some time in the future.

Also, I need a skull cap for my prop.  John doesn't have those.  Any suggestions on where to get one?  Thanks for the help!
