Sounds like the buyer is getting a good deal Stephen. I had less than 70-hours when I began flying my 415-D Ercoupe. My first real-life flight from a "short field" was also my first real flight from a "grass strip" which was also my first in the Ercoupe. (all on the same flight) Basically, it is do-able even for a short time pilot, at least it was in my case. As mentioned on the list, my primary instruction was indeed a C-172 and all of the short/soft field practice was from a 3500-foot asphalt runway because the rentals weren't allowed to use short strips or grass strips. Go figure! I loved my Super Coupe and flew it all over the place, no problem. Ercouper Richard Epton, in south Atlanta, might be able to help and I think he might even have a coupe for sale.
